We're rebuilding the website • Please check back soon
Dear MFA Parents, Guardians and Friends,
Due to risks of unintentionally spreading the COVID-19 virus, the Misericordia Benefit Committee and Misericordia’s Administration have jointly decided to hold a Virtual Benefit on our original date of June 20th. This means that we will not physically have a Benefit with 2000 people attending a dinner dance at the Rosemont convention center. Instead, we are excited to present to you our first-ever Virtual Benefit with many of our same great features you know and love. We’re still working out all of the details, so be on the lookout for more information as we navigate these unchartered waters. Please still keep the JUNE 20th date on your calendars for this virtual event.
Our Collection Sunday meeting at Misericordia scheduled for March 29th is cancelled, not postponed.
But March 29th remains an important date for you to take action as your ads are the primary way we raise money at the Benefit.
We’ve already collected many ads, but the majority of our ads need to come in by the original deadline, March 29. We plan to print and mail the Ad Book. In order to ensure your ad will be printed in the book we must receive them no later than April 10.
It is really important that we get the Ad Book done on time and this is what you can do to help us:
1. We strongly recommend using our online submission form ASAP. Click to submit an Ad or click to submit a SIBS Ad. This is the fastest and most convenient way to submit an ad.
2. You can also Mail, FedEx, or UPS your Ad Book forms ASAP, with payment & photos to:
Misericordia Heart of Mercy
6300 N Ridge Ave
Chicago, IL 60660
ATTN: Ad Book Committee
Include your name and telephone number so that we can contact you if we have any questions. FYI, you can arrange for FedEx and UPS to come to your house for pickup.
As always, remember that if you have any questions about the Benefit Ad Book or how to turn in your ads, just reach out to a member of the Ad Book Committee:
Patty Ramirez (773) 763-3375 firstname.lastname@example.org
Kate Kaufman (630) 205-1739 email@example.com
Elliot Kaufman (312) 296-5617 firstname.lastname@example.org
We will continue to offer an online version of the Car, Cash, and Golden Ticket raffles this year. Please continue to sell your raffle tickets! Same for our online auctions so we need your silent auction items as well. We will let you know how we will collect all of these items as soon as possible.
Please be understanding of our decisions and the time we need to pivot to online. These are very trying and unusual times. We still need to conduct fundraising activities to keep Misericordia functioning in the manner our residents are accustomed to and to provide a safe, and happy atmosphere in which they can thrive!
We are all strongly committed to working together to deliver an exceptional and fun Virtual Benefit. Thank you for your unending support, help, and cooperation.
